-Remove dirt.
If there is any dirt embedded in the crevices of the jewelry, use a q-tip, cotton swab or a soft-bristled baby toothbrush to gently remove it. Then rinse the piece thoroughly.

-Dry thoroughly.
Using a soft, lint-free cloth, dry the jewelry and buff the surface with a microfiber cloth so it shines.

Handbag Care (Ankara)

-Clean
In a small bowl, combine cold water with a few drops of mild soap. Stir the soap into the water to create some suds. Dip toothbrush into the solution and use brush to gently spot treat any stains that may appear on your bag. Make sure brush is rotating in a circular motion. Dip the toothbrush into cold clean water and gently remove the soap off of the bag with a brush in a circular motion. The Ankara Twillys can be placed in the washing machine using cold water and mild soap on a delicate setting. Cold water allows the fabric to maintain its structure and vibrance. Note that the more you wash these handbags and accessories, the higher the likelihood of the fabric. It is recommended to store the bags inside of the dust-bag when they are not in use and keep out of the rain, dirty or damp environments. Spot treating is recommend to retain the integrity of the glue.

-Drying and Storage
Let the handbag and Ankara Twillys air-dry in a dry area. Make sure the area is not damp or humid. Air drying preserves the color and structure of the fabric.
Once dry, wrap the Ankara Twillys back around the handles of the bag, and store the bag inside of the dust-bag, this will protect it from lent and fading due to sun exposure.

Bead Care

Add the strands of beads to a bowl of water, and allow them to soak in the solution for about 1 minutes. Gently stir the strands in the solution every 30 seconds after being submerged.

-Rinse the beads.
In a small bowl of clean cold water, dip the bundle of beads to rinse off the soap. DO NOT USE HOT WATER! Note that the more you wash these beads, the higher the likelihood of the colors fading. It is recommended to take the beads off after wear for maximum color retentions.
